Shawn, that won't work. Questions & Answers only show up if the seller answers them via Ebay Messaging Service. I know because I personally hate using Ebay Messages and none of my answers ever show up. Are you shalsa? If so, I don't even understand what he's trying to say in his feedback. What the hell is "ruth" supposed to mean?

Hi there,

I don't know about this cocksucker, but I just went through a similar feedback extortion situation with some asian prick who thought the world is his and I am to serve him(the buyer) FYI his ID is lovesuck. Appropriate. Anyway, after learning of all the bullshit ebay/paypal policy realities, I was searching for a way to get this prick to reverse the negative feedback he left for me (because ebay doesn't give a shit apparently). I came up with this solution that I am planning on trying after the payment clears IN 21 DAYS. GRRR. Anyway, my plan is to post numerous questions on the items that he is selling and ask questions like "are you going to be as big of a prick to the buyer of this item as you were to me", that kind of think and see if I can block his sales, because as well as feedback, questions and answers cannot been edited or deleted. Anybody tried this before?

Heck, that feedback really shocked me. I think more than a fifth of sellers get negative or neutral from that buyer.

And the problem is either:

1) "Rip off" postage

2) "No" packaging.

Well you can't have it both ways. Either you pay extra than the actual postage cost, or you don't get it packed well.

In one case complaining he paid 2.70 Euros "too much". In another case, he complains about paying £1.50 on top of actual postage. Just £1.50!

I think a few Euros or pounds is personally acceptable to pay for a box, bubble wrap, time and effort to address it, and go to the post office, etc.

I bet the ones that received positive feedback were bullied into giving a part refund, i.e. blackmail, feedback extortion, whatever you want to call it.

To end my message, here is a reply from a bemused negative feedback recipient - note the date:

Yeah, you wouldn't be the first seller in the world to do that. Most of my seller friends and colleagues unconditionally refuse to ship to Mexico and Italy because the post offices there are so terrible. Personally, I'll ship everywhere, but some countries (like Mexico) are REQUIRED by me to use USPS Express Mail International shipping, where it's tracked and must be signed for. I won't ban countries outright, because for every lunatic like sandrine-77, I have many good transactions.

You know, some of the most difficult people I have ever dealt with on Ebay have been people from France. I had one guy from France buy 11 items from me, and than he left me 11 negative feedbacks claiming I greatly overcharged him on shipping and that I made $20.00 profit (which was an outright lie cause the shipping TOTAL was $20.00). I had another French guy buy a bunch of stuff from me, and than complain about my shipping prices after he had already bought everything...even though he was the one who didn't even bother to look at what I charge for shipping which was displayed AS CLEAR AS DAY on all my auctions. He threatened to leave me negative feedback for everything (about 30 items) if I didn't lower my shipping. I've recently encountered another joker from France. He won a couple items from me, but after I hadn't received his payment or heard anything from him after 3 days...I emailed him and told him that I would re-list the items if I didn't receive his payments. He responded by saying something like -

"How dare you make threats against me, you ass-hole! You are the most rude and vile Ebay seller I have ever worked with! I will pay you...but I will never give you my business again!"

I swear...sometimes I feel like putting, "I will ship anywhere in the world EXCEPT France!" in shipping policy.
