I leave feedback for my buyers in large bunches, usually in between 1-2 months’ worth at a time. It wastes time to leave it daily or every single time I get a positive of my own. Eventually, every buyer who leaves me a positive receives one of their own in time. I clearly state this in my ebay policy page.
Of course I still get daily emails from people whining about their feedback, as soon as 10 minutes after they left it for me. These emails get instantly deleted without another thought. Today, however, a new level was reaching in terms of feedback whininess.
Someone tried doing a Mutual Feedback Withdrawal on a positive they left for me.
What? How dumb do you have to be? *Both parties* have to agree to the request. Why on earth would I agree to remove a positive I received? The buyer also sent this message with the MFW request:
“seller has not replied to any requests to leave feedback for this transaction. i would like to remove my positive feedback, and abstain from leaving feedback for a member who does the same.”
I love people who send stuff like this who think there’s some mysterious third party that approves these requests instead of the other person. I usually see them in tier-one item disputes, but I’ve never seen one in a MFW request until today. Also, why are you telling ebay/me that you won’t be leaving feedback for sellers who don’t leave feedback first? Who cares and what does that have to do with this transaction now?
Great job, 5698296 (username, not the item number), you have set a new standard for stupidity and whininess.
